The aim of the Flying Demonstrations is to capture the imaginations of young and old alike, and encourage everyone to care about Birds of Prey.
During the demonstrations, many of the birds will work close, sometimes brushing their wing tips past your face, or flying so close to you, that their flying equipment trails over your head!
There are always plenty of opportunities to take pictures of the birds using any device, and we encourage you to do so.
The birds can be seen on static display at their beautiful
Woodland Weathering Ground, Tuesdays - Saturday from 11am until 2pm.
It is important to give the birds freedom of choice - Flying demonstrations take place at the Flying Ground (next to the Willow Maze), 12:30 and 3:30 Thursdays to Tuesdays on peak days, and 12pm and 2pm on off peak days. Flying demonstrations are automatically cancelled in the event of rain, or nobody present at the designated flying times.
With over 15 birds to exercise, you will often see us flying birds at other times during the course of each day.
